Privacy Notice
Last updated: 14 September 2026
Goodwill Osabuase ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described here, collected through this website and the ebooks sold on it. You can contact us about privacy at support@goodwillabundance.app.
What we collect and why
- Email address — given at checkout or on the library page. Used to deliver your download links, resend access on request, and answer support messages. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Order details — the products bought, amount, currency, order reference and refund status, received from Paddle. Used to give you access to what you paid for and to keep our records. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
- Support messages — whatever you write to us. Used to help you. Legal basis: legitimate interests in supporting customers.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, download counts and basic usage logs. Used for security, fraud prevention, preventing link abuse and improving the site. Legal basis: legitimate interests in a secure service.
- Marketing emails, if you ever opt in. Legal basis: consent — you can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link.
Payment card details are never collected or seen by us — they are handled entirely by Paddle.
Who we share it with
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale, payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds;
- Service providers who host the site and database, store the ebook files and send our transactional emails, acting on our instructions;
- Professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers where needed;
- Authorities where we are required to disclose by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Download access lasts one year from purchase. Order and email records are kept for up to seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Support messages are kept for up to two years.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to our processing, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, private file storage and time-limited signed download links.
Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies and similar storage needed to run the site and complete checkout (including cookies set by Paddle during payment). We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though checkout may not work without the essential ones.
